Madam Maheswari Kanniah a/p G Kanniah, a Malaysian, was appointed to the Board of Turiya as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 13 March 2025. She serves as the Chairman of the Risk Management and Sustainability Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Company.

Madam Maheswari holds several prestigious professional qualifications, starting with her certification as a Chartered Banker, accredited by both the Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) and the Chartered Banker Institute (CBI), United Kingdom. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), accredited by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in both the United States and Malaysia. In addition, she is a Fellow of The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) and a Fellow Chartered Secretary and Chartered Governance Professional of the Chartered Governance Institute, United Kingdom (FCIS (CS)(CGP)). Furthermore, Ms. Maheswari is a Certified Expert in ESG and Impact Investing, having completed certification from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. She is a Life Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM) and an Honorary Member of the Director Members Community at Leadwomen.

Madam Maheswari brings over 46 years of experience, including several senior management roles in the financial services sector. Her extensive career covers a period of 22 years in Compliance, Regulatory, Governance, Ethics, Fraud Investigation, and Risk Management within the financial and capital market services sector. She also has 24 years of experience in senior company secretarial roles within listed companies.

Currently, Madam Maheswari serves as the Executive Director and Group Chief Regulatory and Compliance Officer at Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (KIBB). She is a member of the Board of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM) and serves on the Risk Management Committee at University Malaya. Ms. Maheswari is also an Adviser to the ACFE Malaysian Chapter.

Madam Maheswari does not have any family relationships with any other director or major shareholder of the Company, nor does she have any conflict of interest with the Company.
